Traditional B & B accommodation
Meredith House offers traditional hosted B & B acommodation, featuring excellent service, comfortable rooms and a legendary Tasmanian breakfast. Accommodation choices range from upstairs queen or twin bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, a family room or a three-room ground floor suite; whichever you choose, you may be assured of a comfortable night's sleep.
The Mews Studios
Adjacent to Meredith House are four mews-style studio apartments, three of which have spas. All have an ensuite bathroom, three studios have queen size bed plus a single bed, comfortably accommodating two adults and a child; and the 4th studio has a queen bed.
Our award-winning full cooked breakfast is included in the tariff for all accommodation at Meredith House, including the Mews Studios.

The Freycinet Coast ia a spectacular 120 kilometre coastal strip from Bicheno in the North to Buckland in the south, along the way taking in the towns of Coles Bay, Swansea, Triabunna and Orford; as well as the world renowned Freycinet Peninsula, Wineglass Bay and Maria Island.
Swansea is an excellent base for touring Tasmania's sunny East Coast, including the beautiful Freycinet Peninsula, iconic Wineglass Bay and enigmatic Maria Island all less than one hour's drive away. A day spent enjoying the rugged beauty of Freycinet National Park can be combined with a visit to one of the award-winning local vineyards.
